Most of my film rolls run through a Canon Rebel 2000, but I also hold onto two vintage gems: an Argus C-Four from the 1950s and a Minolta X-700 from the 1980s. Both were passed down from my grandfather. I don’t reach for them as often now, yet some of my most cherished images came from their frames; a double exposure of a woman smoking backstage at a fashion show in Grand Rapids, friends spinning across a wedding floor in Colorado, mountains glowing in the Moab sun.
